Description

"This course develops the role of the supervisor within human service organizations. Given the changing nature of human service and supervision the course will enumerate and apply myriad supervisory roles and methodolgies to develop traditional and start-up human service organizations into their own learning and self-improving cultures. Primary focus is on applied functionality, learning, individuality and creativity, resulting in productivity facilitation within the organizations themselves and the communities they serve. The course also highlights cross-cultural communication, the managerial nature of supervision, transformational leadership, strength theories, and the use of predictive data to dictate/change agency policy."
