Description
"Professionally supervised work experience carried out in a human services agency. Weekly seminars will assess student growth, explore student concerns and professional practice issues. The development of responsible and appropriate problem-solving techniques will be emphasized. A minimum of 400 hours of field work, in the area of specialization (substance abuse treatment, gerontology, child welfare and family services or rehabilitation and mental health services) will be completed during the two-semester placement." 200 field work hrs/semester
